What We Wore // Rainbow Colours

Last Saturday saw us playing host to over 30 friends and family for Tilly and Jasper's 3rd birthday party.

I had so many plans for the party... a rainbow party... decorations, food, outfits for Tilly and Jasper, and the rainbow layer cake, but I only managed the outfits and cake in the end... which I guess were the important bits anyway!

A little while ago I spotted the most beautiful handmade rainbow party dress, perfect for Tilly, so I placed an order with the extremely helpful Amanda.

Jasper, on the hand, was proving more difficult to find something for. I wanted something in rainbow colours, but that still had a boyish feel to it... and then I found Villervalla. A Swedish brand with an amazing selection of rainbow coloured clothes... but I couldn't find any of the items I liked in the right size anywhere... so I put a shout out on twitter on Thursday morning and ImpKids came to my rescue. A quick phonecall later, and the very next morning - the twins' birthday - both parcels arrived... talk about precision timing!

They had a fab party celebrating with our nearest and dearest... and the dress, vest and cake all matched perfectly!

  1. Oh I wish they did those in adult sizes! I love rainbows! It was even the theme of my hen-do many years ago... and rainbows made a subtle appearance at my wedding!
